Alright guys, I’m blacking out for tomorrow and joining the STOP SOPA & PIPA protest. Especially since Marvel is in support of SOPA.
PROTECT-IP is a bill that has been introduced in the Senate and the House and is moving quickly through Congress. It gives the government and corporations the ability to censor the net, in the name of protecting “creativity”. The law would let the government or corporations censor entire sites— they just have to convince a judge that the site is “dedicated to copyright infringement.”
The government has already wrongly shut down sites without any recourse to the site owner. Under this bill, sharing a video with anything copyrighted in it, or what sites like Youtube and Twitter do, would be considered illegal behavior according to this bill.
According to the Congressional Budget Office, this bill would cost us $47 million tax dollars a year — that’s for a fix that won’t work, disrupts the internet, stifles innovation, shuts out diverse voices, and censors the internet. This bill is bad for creativity and does not protect your rights. So cheers everyone, I’ll see you on Thursday.
Late Post
I completely spaced on posting here this morning. >.< I will not do that anymore.
Breakfast was rather disgusting this morning. I ate oatmeal with raisins, a can of V8 Vegetable Juice, and a half a thing of yogurt. I couldn’t get through the oatmeal or the yogurt. I am now 100% sure I hate both plain oatmeal and yogurt. This is a short post, but it was a short breakfast. lol Anywho.

Tonight’s dinner was compromised of couscous with homemade tomato sauce, steamed asparagus, and baked salmon. It was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had asparagus before, but it was actually really good and the couscous was awesome even with that tiny bit of sauce. I’ve definitely found two new things that I really enjoy. We didn’t really use measurements tonight, but it was supposed to be 1/2 cup asparagus, 1 cup couscous, 2 ounces salmon and a wheat roll (replaced by a pig in a blanket >.<). Other than the pig in a blanket, I did pretty good, just couldn’t fit a full cup of couscous in my stomach along with the chunk of salmon and the pile of asparagus.
Today, I feel I did pretty good. I was good at breakfast, despite not having a picture and really good at lunch and dinner was fabulous. Thanks for reading and good night!
Finally! A blog with a picture. Granted it’s a late blog, but still. I had a meeting today at three and by the time I had eaten, I didn’t have a whole lot of time to type up the lunch blog. Anywho, no more excuses. Time for the lunch blog. Today’s lunch consisted of two turkey tacos on hard shells with a 1/2 cup of fruit cocktail and 1 cup of vegetable soup (replaced with the left over soup from yesterday’s lunch.) It was good and I didn’t mind the soup as much today. Normally, I don’t like fruit cocktail, but it’s not quite as bad in pear juice. I really enjoyed my tacos, but I love tacos. I think we’re having last night’s dinner menu tonight, though I could most certainly be wrong. See you after dinner!

Breakfast of the Weak
So, breakfast made me want to bow down and say the diet had won. I like oatmeal, but it has to have some sort of flavor other than raisins. It was the vilest thing I’ve ever eaten (as far as I can remember). Alright, I’m going to stop ranting now, because I don’t want to be a whiner, I want to be a winner. Today’s breakfast consisted of 1 cup oatmeal with 1/4 cup raisins (about a snack size box full) with 1/2 cup orange juice and 1 cup milk. I can’t wait for lunch, though. Soup and a turkey burger. I’ll fill you in later and have a picture next time. The batteries were dead in my camera, but are charging now.

Dinner and the Day’s Wrap-Up
Alrighty, so we just had leftovers tonight because our fridge was beginning to overflow. Okay, so it wasn’t quite that bad, but the leftovers and the groceries for the diet had, combined, stuffed the fridge full. Instead of what was actually on the menu, I had a large portion of peas, a small turkey taco with cheese and diced onions on a flour tortilla, a portion of stuffing, and half a chicken strip with a glass of water to top it all off. Then I had an orange for dessert. I don’t think I did too bad, but I could’ve dropped at least the chicken strip. Oh well, what’s done is done and I’m fine with my meal. I don’t really like fretting over little stuff, but I can tell this blog is already helping with me stick to this diet. I’ll start posting pictures tomorrow morning, starting with breakfast (and actually post here after I’m finished instead of several hours later.)
Today wasn’t too bad. I had quite a bit of food and most of it was pretty healthy. I’m liking this diet so far and can’t wait for tomorrow.

It has never bothered me that practically none of my female friends that i have are into comics. Well, into comics outside of going to see them at the cinema. When it came to buying presents for their boyfriends or brothers, they would always come to my shop and enlist me to help them find a comic…
Blonde Moment
I had a huge blonde moment before lunch and completely spaced on the picture thing. Blegh. I WILL have a picture of dinner, though. Anywho, since I don’t have a picture to show my ridiculously sized diet lunch, I’ll tell you about it instead. It was titled “Salad and Chicken Noodle Lunch” and consisted of, well, a salad and chicken noodle soup. The soup was 1 cup of “Campbell’s Homestyle Chicken Noodle” and wasn’t great. The noodles were pretty gross, but the broth was pretty decent. It had little pieces of carrots in it, but I think I left them in the bowl I’ll be eating two days from now for the soup for that lunch, unless I let my little sister eat it before then, which is a very probable idea and just eat the soup that’s actually called for. Back to the topic at hand, the salad was really good. It was supposed to have 2 ounces cooked chicken with it, but I didn’t bother with it (bad Alyssa, bad). The rest consisted of 2 cups of leafy greens (lettuce in my case) and 1/2 cup of other, raw vegetables (I chose carrots). I was supposed to mix 1 tsp olive oil and 1 tsp vinegar for the dressing, but Mom picked up some pre-made stuff so I just used 2 tsps of that. It was really good and when eaten with a glass of water, I was stuffed to say the least. The salad was really good if I do say so myself. ^.^
